Brand Yourself NOT Your Product

Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could brand something
without actually selling it, through annoying our friends
and families, or harassing people three feet away from
us at the grocery store?

Oh wait, there IS a way. And I’m going to get into it
in this post today.

Most new internet marketers, or new business owners for
that matter, just look for a quick buck to fill their wallets.
With that being said, they do not brand themselves in the
most efficient way and soon enough it becomes tougher
to get their business off the ground.

The most important thing to know when trying to brand
yourself is that BEFORE you start selling your services or
product to others you must hand them FREE information
that has value attached to it.

How many of you reading this will turn away a free gift?
Not many of you I would imagine.

As an example, if you have a business that deals with pastries
or kitchen appliances you can add a free resource on your
website such as a free recipe e-book or a discount coupon
for an ingredient.

Here’s another example: If your business is about eco baby
skin products think about providing a chemical report of
some sort assessing why the big name brand at Kmart is
less safer for kids and how your eco-friendly product is safer.

Show your audience the importance of why they should
switch. Get into their hearts and minds and show them
you truly care.

Whatever you choose make it a valuable free gift or at least
a resource that your readers will appreciate.

And without say, publish information that is not only
interesting but that also provides value so that your
readers will want to come back to your site or location
daily and weekly. Ultimately this should create more
traffic to your site (or store) because of your ‘go-to’
reputation and thus a larger potential in selling your product.

When you brand yourself properly and correctly you will
inevitably be known as the provider of good content.

Implement the things you learned here for your business
and brand yourself instead of your product or service first.
I assure you that you will have far greater success than
you thought possible.
