“How to Customize YouTube Videos”
“How do you customize youtube videos?”
“How do you customize and omit those
annoying videos that pop up after your
youtube video is finished playing?”
“How do I embed a video into my website?”
These questions are ones I’ve heard at least a hundred times over the last couple months of building my business online.
In this short 3-minute video tutorial you’re going to learn how to do exactly that. (And I also threw in some bonuses in there as well.)
But first, allow me to share with you the importance of omitting those little annoying videos that pop up at the end of your videos.
BTW, those little annoying vids have a name. Its name is “related videos”.
So, you decide on a topic, do some research on how to best teach others that particular topic, pull some content
together, write up a little something about it, prepare your video equipment, dress up for your video, put your makeup
on and fix your hair, record your video…
You’re not done yet…
Don’t forget to upload your video from your camera, convert it (if it needs to be converted), edit it,
upload to youtube (and other video sharing sites if that’s your plan), write out the description of your video, enter some tag words, choose the video settings, and finally view it once again to make sure it’s ready for public viewing.
High Five for getting this far!
Now that you have viewers you want to make sure that you have their full attention!
If related videos pop up, that most likely means they watched through your entire video…BUT then now
they are distracted from the related vids, they click on one of it and then they forget all about your video, your name,
and what you just talked about.
Okay, I’m sure you get my point on why it’s important to take out those related vids that pop up at the end of
your videos.
No more delaying…
Click play below:
See, you appreciated the bonuses, right?
That was simple to customize your youtube videos.
I appreciate social love so share this on Facebook or Twitter. You will find the buttons at the top of this page. Go ahead, share this with your tribe, community, friends, and family.

Jaclyn, I can honestly say of all the YouTube training I’ve been through, no one taught me this! Your knowledge about video marketing is so helpful for those of us learning this strategy. Thanks for sharing!

It was so difficult to do this at first. I just couldn’t find that little button over there on the side of YT site to do this. I knew it could be done.. Now, I know.. thanks, Jacyln.

Since learning that you became more confident almost instantaneously just from reading the tips on this post brought smiles to my face
Gotta share an update with you that you probably already figured out by now because you’re smart like that.
Click on the “embed” button on the bottom right hand side of a youtube video and then from there uncheck the box that reads “include related videos”.
You’re all set! They recently made changes to youtube.
You are so very welcome! Rock on!

Hi Jaclyn. I appreciate this information. I will hop on over and see your video, as I keep trying to make YouTube look better and work better for my business. I’ve seen one preschool channel that has tabs and an uploaded background. It looks so cool, I’d like to do something like that. Thanks for sharing.

Man, the things you can do to be creative for your Youtube vids are impressive. When you learn a new tip it can change the way your videos are viewed. So many things I have yet to learn about YT in regards to the possibilities of its features. Great stuff!
Thanks for dropping by Miss Leslie!

Hey Jaclyn
Talk about some super simple tips for people to implement today, those related videos really are annoying, so are the ads the have to come to think of it.
Its too bad that you can’t have the related videos show up but just your own related videos and not others, that would be a pretty cool feature who knows lets hope some bigwig thinks of it.

We think the same CJ – thought of that too (about having ONLY our vids show as the related ones). Actually, come to think of it my vids do show up as related vids but not ALL the vids that pop up are mine.
With all the amazing technology happening I wouldn’t be surprised if tomorrow some technologically-inclined person makes it possible for everyone to have that option. That’ll be cool!
Thanks for stopping by CJ!

Thank you Thank you! You just saved me oodles of time. I am so glad I watched this post today. I do think those related videos are annoying and take away from your message. Now I don’t have to worry about that any more. This is a great help to many. I’ll look forward to your other tips and can’t wait to learn from your learnings.

Interesting post Jaclyn. I was attracted to the title – I’ve posted several YouTube videos on my site so I’m pretty comfortable with that, but I’m about to post my first video on YouTube so this was really helpful information. Thanks!

Hi there Mary,
You are very welcome! I”m glad I could help you.
For the video screen capture I used a free software that you can see on a previous post here:
http://www.jaclyncastro.com/camstudio-installation
If you’re willing to invest in a more upgraded software, I recommend Camtasia.
Just do a google search for it. It’s an awesome software but personally takes time
to get used to.
Enjoy!
